Winter in Denmark is very similar to what I know from Prague in
Czech Republic. Temperature is several degrees below zero. On the
ground there is 5 – 10 cm of snow. If there is snow or not, we are
still riding bikes around the city.
There
is a difference in the approach of municipality to the snow in
Denmark. Municipality takes more care about pavements and bike paths
than streets. They are without snow sooner than streets for cars.
Municipality uses the machines with the snow removal roller
brush in the front instead of the
snowplough, so bike paths are completely clean.
