Stánek se zeleninou /Vegetables stand

Vypadá jako obyčejný stánek, ale nikdo kolem něj. Takových je po Dánsku spousta, vezmete si co chcete, jahody nebo brambory, peníze hodíte do kasičky a jdete dál, zkrátka samoobsluha.

Plážové frisbee/Beach ultimate

Poprvé v životě jsem hrál frisbee na pláži. Člověk by řekl, že to bude daleko jednodušší než na trávě, zkrátka jen takové přehazování disku. Ale opak je pravdou. Bořit se při běhání do písku by ještě šlo, ale krom toho jsou v Dánsku velmi ostré kameny, pazourky. Před hrou jsme půl hodiny na hřišti pazourky vysbírávali. Víte, jak se cítí prsty na ruce, když dlouho nehrajete na kytaru? Tak takhle na tom byly mé nohy. Ale jinak romantika, v pozadí na moři most přes Storebelt.

First time in my life I have played Beach Ultimate. It looks that it is more easy then playing on the grass. But the contrary is the case. Running through the sand it is ok, but in Denmark, there are very sharp flint stones. We cleaned the playground from the flint stones around half a hour, but there remained a lot of them. Do you know the feeling, when you don´t play on guitar for a long time? It was the feeling of my foots. But the beach was very poetic. On the horizon of the sea bridge over the Storebælt.

Dlouhé dny /Long days

Slunce zapadá kolem desáté hodiny večer, ale ještě v jedenáct je venku světlo a o půlnoci na západě náznak blankytu. Bude to asi tím, že jsme víc na severu, slunce není přes den tak vysoko jako v Čechách, ale zároveň v noci není tolik ukryté pod obzorem. Pro srovnání v Čechách je v 10 večer už skoro úplně tma. 

Sunset in Denmark is around 10 pm. At 11 pm is still light outside and in the midnight there is a sign of sky-blue in west. The reason should be that in Denmark we are more on north and the sun is not so high over the day and as well as it is not so deep under the horizon in the night. For the comparison, in Czech there is at 10 pm almost completely dark.   

No,no, it is not sunset, but typical Danish coastline with the wind turbine.

Sankthans

V Česku se pálí čarodějnice 30. dubna. V Dánsku 23. června na slunovrat. Po celém pobřeží se chytají obrovské hranice, které se pak večer zapálí, pronášejí proslovy a zpívají. Musí to být úchvatný pohled z moře. Hořet hranici jsem sice neviděl ale připravených jich měli spousta. Jednu jsem vám vyfotil.

In Czech Republic we burn witches on April 30. But in Denmark they burn witches on the midsummer. On the seacoast there are prepared bonfires to be lighted in the evening. In the evening Danes light bonfire, have speeches and sing midsummer songs. I haven´t seen burning bonfire, but have seen a lot of prepared bonfires on the coast and took a photo of one bonfire for you.
